Coreys Cottage, Stevenage

Coreys Cottage is a Grade II Listed property which dates back to the late 16th century, it is recognised as one of the oldest properties within Stevenage by conservation experts. The belief is that the house was once the residence of the millers, back in the days when the windmill stood adjacent. We succesfully obtained planning permission, listed building consent and a full plans approval with building control, bringing the property up to the 21st centuary.

We successfully secured a Section 73 planning approval to vary the original consent, enabling a more contemporary design and the introduction of an additional bedroom with en-suite within the loft space. We delivered the detailed design and acted as Principal Designer, providing clear coordination between the on-site team and all consultants to support a smooth and efficient construction process.
